In July 2019, China's crude steel production increased by 5% year on year.
According to the data of the National Bureau of Statistics, in July 2019, the average daily output of crude steel in China was 2.749 million tons, the average daily output of pig iron in July was 2.24 million tons, and the average daily output of steel in July was 3.413 million tons.
In July 2019, China's pig iron output was 68.31 million tons, an increase of 0.6% compared with the same period last year; in January-July, the pig iron output was 47.34 million tons, an increase of 6.7% compared with the same period last year.
In July 2019, China's crude steel output was 85.22 million tons, an increase of 5.0% compared with the same period last year; in January-July, China's crude steel output was 57.76 million tons, an increase of 9.0% compared with the same period last year.
In July 2019, China's steel output reached 105.82 million tons, an increase of 9.6% over the same period last year; in January-July, China's steel output reached 697.76 million tons, an increase of 11.2% over the same period last year.
